Admin Assistant, Peer Support Worker
Josephine (she/her) (also goes by Josie) supports Yellow Gum Art Therapy Studio and Finding Wellbeing Art Therapy & Counselling as an administrative assistant and peer support worker. Josie is also a member of the neurodivergent community and wants to help other people on the spectrum.
Josephine has an interest in social sciences and has completed a Certificate II in Community Services, Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology (the study of humanity and culture) and in 2024 will be studying Cert IIII in Community Services to level up her practical skills in supporting the community.
Josie currently supports our Crafternoon group, where neurodivergent youth get together to socialise and make crafts. She is starting to take on 1:1 clients who want to be supported by someone else who is also autistic and has lived experience of navigating high school, making friends, uni life, tafe and finding work with neurodivergence. She has strong interests in video games, pop-culture, has a growing squishmallow collection and likes anime, some pop music and rock/metal music.
