Alana Stewart, AThR
Director, Art Therapist
Alana Stewart (she/her) is the owner, director and lead Registered Art Therapist of her NDIS registered private practice Finding Wellbeing Art Therapy & Counselling and owner of studio location Yellow Gum Art Therapy Studio.
Alana has personal connections to disability from within her close family and in her professional work she is passionate about disability rights, human rights and providing trauma-informed, neurodivergent affirming and LGBTQI+ affirming mental health therapy.
Alana has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Masters of Art Therapy. She has been in private practice since early 2019 and working in the disability and community service field directly with clients since 2012.
Alana also has an interest in nature-based psychotherapeutic approaches to human health and wellbeing and enjoys spending time connecting with nature through walking, exploring natural attractions, camping, learning the art of ceramics and clay sculpting and incorporates nature based psychotherapy in her Art Therapy approach.
