Yellow Gum Art Therapy Studio
Our studio sits on the stolen land of the Wurrundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.
We acknowledge their continuing culture and spiritual practices, and ongoing connection to and care of this land, it's waters, animals, and aboriginal community.
We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
We acknowledge Aboriginal sovereignty was never ceded.

Our Story
Creating this Space
Our beautiful art studio was once an empty, neglected and dusty room on top of the Stables Shopping Center which had been untenanted for many many months. In December 2021, right after the end of Melbourne's historically long lockdowns, Alana discovered this space and was in awe of it's beautiful window view of vibrant treetops and perfect size. She started work on transforming it into a her vision of a warm and welcoming Art Therapy studio. A place where people could visit to work alongside an Arts Therapist and feel supported use art and creativity for self-expression, healing and mental health support.
In January 2022, the Yellow Gum Art Therapy Studio opened to offer Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Counselling and Art Therapy Groups and is a home for multiple private practitioner Arts Therapists who work with our diverse community.
Outdoor Forest Therapy programs are also in development.
Now supporting NDIS, private and other funded clients.
